Relationships and story

Williamsport 50501 started as a group of people demanding a townhall from Representative Dan Mueser in February 2025. Since then, we’ve taken on mutual aid initiatives in the community, offered free educational trainings, advocated for the rights of immigrants in the greater Williamsport area, hosted events to encourage community involvement in local government, and put on plenty of protests.

Williamsport 50501 is inspired by the national FiftyFifty.One organization and may from time to time participate in work, effort, and events put on by them, but is ultimately independent of the national organization.
